On Tuesday, Realtor.com announced the addition of “enhanced listing intelligence features” to its website, which can offer real estate agents predictive insights.

According to a news release from the company, the improved listings can help agents “demonstrate their value and knowledge of local market conditions, amp up their marketing tactics for their clients, and close deals.”

According to the business, Realtor.com receives millions of monthly visits from people looking to buy a home. 

In today’s shifting market, agents can benefit from knowing how these buyers are searching in their local area as a valuable resource and effective selling tool.

Real estate professionals now have access to listing intelligence that includes, upgraded features, according to Realtor.com.

  • Buyer information: On Realtor.com, you can view the total number of prospective buyers in a given area as well as those who have contacted the site with inquiries that fall within the listing’s price range.

View the top three ZIP codes from which buyers are most interested in a given listing to get a sense of the buyer’s demand. The new features also reveal the proportion of traffic to a listing on Realtor.com that originates in the city, state, other states, and internationally.

  • Listing completeness: Learn how complete their Realtor.com property listing is and get advice on how to make it better by adding more images or details to the description.
  • Performance score: Evaluate a Realtor.com property listing’s performance by comparing it to other listings on the website in the same price range and ZIP code to see how well it draws in and engages potential buyers.
  • Market trends: Determine regional market trends observed on Realtor.com, such as the average number of days a home is on the market, the average list price, the total number of homes that have had their prices dropped, etc.

According to Donna August, vice president of B2B Marketing at Realtor.com, sellers’ agents can increase their value, make wiser decisions for their clients, and fine-tune their marketing strategies to more effectively target homebuyers and sell their clients’ properties by using detailed information provided by Realtor.com about active buyers in their market.

In a recent consumer survey conducted by Realtor.com, nearly 9 out of 10 home sellers reported working with a real estate agent to list their properties for sale.
